ABOUT ME:

Hi everyone, my name is Filip and I’ve been collecting pens for over 10 years now. I absolutely love Montblanc pens, but lately, I’ve been really into Graf von Faber Castell pens, especially the ones made of wood. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always had a fascination with stationery and writing instruments. I had a beautiful, big pen case in elementary school that was filled with pens and pencils. I also enjoyed writing and used to write poetry when I was young.

My first luxury pen was the Porsche Design Tecflex by Faber Castell, which I received from my parents as a graduation present. Before that, I had many pens and fillers, but they were all in the 20€ category. Since then, my first pen has been with me constantly, and it’s funny that I’ve lost it about 3 times, but I always managed to find it. Once, I even found it next to my car on the sidewalk. Since then, I’ve dreamt of owning more expensive pens, and I’ve been slowly growing my collection.

At first, I preferred ballpoint pens, but now I mostly use fountain pens. I not only love the pen itself, but also its story, whether I received it as a gift, traded it, or bought it myself. It’s the story that gives the pen its soul. I prefer thinner nibs, like F or EF, but I also love interesting variations in font thickness, and one day I’ll definitely buy a bespoke nib.

I’m glad to have this passion because it makes my days more beautiful. Another passion of mine is pencils, which I also love very much. My favorite is, of course, the Graf von Faber Castell Perfect Pencil Magnum, which I received as a Christmas present from my wife.
