ABOUT THE PEN:

To mark the Meisterstück’s centenary in 2024, Montblanc draws inspiration from the iconic spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. That year holds special significance for Montblanc, as it saw the release of the Meisterstück, destined to become one of the brand’s most renowned masterpieces. Likewise, 1924 marked the first Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix, in the shadow of Mont Blanc itself. Both Montblanc and the Games embody the relentless pursuit of excellence, brought to life by master artisans and elite athletes alike.

The Doué edition artfully combines a blue-grey resin barrel, mirroring the official Winter Games color, with a platinum-coated cap engraved with a mountain landscape of the Chamonix valley. The solid Au750/18k gold nib, crafted by hand, is detailed with an image of a ski jumper as an homage to a vintage Olympic poster. The cap’s top ring features the Olympic Rings as part of the Olympic Heritage logo, encircled by a wreath reminiscent of the victory laurels from ancient Olympic Games. The cap also bears the inscription “Olympic Games Chamonix 1924” within a frame inspired by the cover of the official Games report.

A special anniversary cap ring is engraved with both “1924” and “2024,” celebrating these two meaningful years, while Montblanc’s signature emblem, set in coral-colored resin, crowns the piece – a final nod to the brand’s legacy.
