ABOUT THE PEN:
The StarWalker collection by Montblanc is characterized by a floating logo in the transparant part of the cap. The design of the StarWalker ceramics is inspired by Italian Futurism, an art movement from the early 20th century, which emphasises the visual effect of movement, aerodynamics and speed. The built in “ceramics” is a high-tech material utilised in the car racing industry to build highly efficient braking systems. The material is known for its resistance against abrasion and scratches.

MY IMPRESSIONS:
The pen is relatively heavy and it is not immediately apparent to the touch that the material is ceramic. Personally, I really like this material. It is unclear whether it is stronger than resin. The only disadvantage is that the pen gets dirty, but it can be easily cleaned with water.
